Man sought after girl assaulted

Police in Cornwall have launched an investigation after a 17-year-old girl said she was sexually assaulted as she walked along a footpath.

The girl was walking from the junction of St George's Road with New Street in Saltash on the afternoon of 21 September when a man ran towards her.

He grabbed her wrist and then her breast before exposing himself.

He is described as white, aged between 20 and 25 with brown, spiky hair and dark stubble.

A Devon and Cornwall police spokesperson said: "The girl noticed a thick brown leather strapped watch on his wrist. He is believed to have a local accent but is not recognised as being from that area.

"Anyone with information about this man or the offence is asked to contact Saltash police."
