Year round summer on rail line

The number of trains running on a Cornish branch line will not be reduced over the winter, a rail operator has announced.

The weekday summer service on the Liskeard to Looe line will now run all year round.

First Great Western, which runs the service, said the change followed protests from local campaigners.

Twelve trains a day will continue to run on weekdays but there will still be reductions at weekends.
