A family has paid tribute to a 27-year-old woman whose body was discovered at the bottom of cliffs in Cornwall.

Claire Bond's body was found at the bottom of Rame Head cliffs at Western Gear Beach by coastguards after she had gone missing from her home in Plymouth.

Police said Ms Bond's death on Sunday was being treated as unexplained.

"She would light up the room as she walked in, we miss her greatly," the family said in a statement.

The family said it had been touched by the kindness expressed by people recounting their memories of Claire.

"She was, as already commented by so many, always smiling and laughing, so very loyal to her family and friends and kind to all," the statement added.

Police have appealed to anyone who may have seen Ms Bond on Sunday morning.

They would also like to speak to dog walkers who may have handed in a handbag to coastguards on Ramehead Lane.
