Party gatecrashers smash up house
Police were pelted with glass when they were called out to deal with a private party in Devon which had been overrun by gatecrashers.

When officers arrived at Bovey Tracey, the house in Colehayes was being vandalised and about 200 people were in a field outside.

After the house was cleared and taxis called to take people away, there were disturbances at two nearby pubs.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman said some arrests were made.
