Mobile films to tackle drinking
Film sent to mobile phone
The films are being sent to youngsters' mobile phones
Mobile phones are being used in a project to tackle teenage drinking.

A youth charity in Cornwall is sending hard-hitting films to youngsters' phones warning them of the dangers of too much alcohol.

It is hoped the idea will prompt teenagers to think twice about drinking before they go out for the evening.

The Penzance-based Treyla Project uses a range of arts activities through which to develop positive attitudes and lifestyles for local youngsters.

Sam Coates from the Treyla Project said: "What we'd like them to achieve is young people being safer around alcohol whether it's drinking less or whether its taking better care of themselves about where they're drinking and who they're drinking with."
