Decision due on car park charge

Controversial plans to start charging at a car park in Cornwall will be decided on by councillors.

Members of Restormel Borough Council have received a strong reaction after the idea of making motorists pay at Squires Field in Fowey was revealed.

Concerns have been raised over possible congestion on roads into Fowey caused by people trying to avoid paying.

A recommendation is now going to the council's cabinet not to implement any charges at the site.
