WWII incendiaries found in hedge
Two incendiary devices found beside a hedge in a Cornish field have been detonated by a bomb disposal unit.

Emergency services were called to Trewetha, near Port Isaac, just before midday when the devices were found and one caught fire when it was broken.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the devices were thought to be phosphorous grenades from World War II.

The area was not evacuated, but the B3267 was closed near the entrance to Port Isaac.
