A 64-year-old man has been arrested by police
A woman found dead at a Cornish farmhouse suffered "significant injuries" to her head and torso, a post-mortem examination has found.

Michelle Crossley's body was found by police at Carnebone Farmhouse, Laity, on the A394 near Helston on Sunday.

Armed police and the force helicopter helped in a search for the suspect.

Police have been granted another 36 hours to question a 64-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murdering the 39-year-old.

He remains in custody at Camborne Police Station.

A major incident room has been set up at the station and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
