Approval for 5m marina at docks
A state-of-the-art marina is to replace ageing wooden wharfs at docks in a Cornish town.

Planners have approved designs for the 300-berth marina within the A&P docks in Falmouth.

The 5m development will have a 600-metre-long floating breakwater, space for yachts and boats, showers and parking for 300 cars.

Construction is due to be completed next year. Mayor Michael Varney says it will raise Cornwall's profile.
