Hundreds see vintage steam rally
Hundreds of people have attended a rally of vintage steam engines which once operated in Cornwall's mining heartland.

The rally at East Pool Mine was organised by the National Trust to celebrate the county's mining heritage.

A working replica of the Murdoch Flyer - the 18th Century steam engine invented by Redruth resident William Murdoch - was also on display.

Pool forms part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site.

The rally is a precursor to the two-day West of England Steam Rally being held in St Agnes next weekend.
