Tories appoint Cornwall minister
The Conservative leader, David Cameron, has appointed a new shadow minister for the county of Cornwall.

Cornish born MP Mark Prisk says he wants to make sure the county remains at the "heart" of Conservative Party policy making.

The Tories already have a shadow minister in Plymouth and the decision to add Cornwall is seen by many as an attempt to match the Labour party.

Labour recently appointed Ben Bradshaw minister for the south west.
