Lifeguard truck stolen by thieves
Scene of vehicle theft Perranporth
Police believe a vehicle was used to get through the gates
Police in Cornwall are investigating after thieves forced their way overnight into an RNLI base and stole a lifeguard truck.

Police said it looked like another vehicle was used to break though the steel gates of the compound at New Road in Perranporth.

The missing truck, a white Toyota, has the RNLI lifeguard logo on it and has an H registration.

The RNLI said lifeguard rescue operations would not be affected.
