Asbo for 'aggressive' town beggar
A man has been given an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) for aggressively begging for money from elderly and vulnerable people in Cornwall.

Philip Cheshire, 32, of no fixed abode, was prohibited from begging, drinking alcohol or taking drugs in public places and using abusive language.

The five-year order was made by Liskeard Magistrates' Court.

Police said it showed local residents' concerns were listened to and this sort of behaviour would not be tolerated.
