Artists invited to create trail
Saltash
It is the first of a number of regeneration projects
Artists are being asked to come up with innovative and dynamic ideas to help create a new art trail in a town in south east Cornwall.

The trail of public artworks in Saltash will be designed by local artists with help from the local community.

It is the first of a number of regeneration projects for the town.

The closing date for entries is 18 June and there will be an exhibition of entries on display in the town's library between 3-30 July.

Jo Baskott, project leader for the trail, explained the idea behind the project.

"Saltash is fiercely proud of its Cornish heritage, but often gets overlooked," she said.

"We want to really put Saltash on the map, and this art trail is one small way in which we can do that."
