Carrick District Council is one of two councils the Liberal Democrats lost in the local elections in Cornwall.
It had previously been the only Cornish district under single party control. There is now no overall control.
The Lib Dems lost nine seats, Independents lost three and the main beneficiaries were the Conservatives who gained 10 seats.
UKIP won their first seat and Labour gained one. The council make up is: Con 19; LD 18; Ind 8; Lab 1, UKIP 1.
The Lib Dems also lost control in Restormel, but did gain control in Caradon.
