Ferry service full strength again
Torpoint ferry
One ferry had been out of action because of a wheel bearing failure
The Torpoint ferry service is due to return to full strength after repairs.

One of the ferries had been out of action because of a wheel bearing failure but repairs have been completed - five days earlier than expected.

The reduction in crossings caused traffic delays at the ferry and heavier flows across the Tamar Bridge between Devon and Cornwall.

The Torpoint ferry operations manager Tony Whetton has thanked commuters for their patience and understanding.

Nearly two million vehicles use the link between Devonport and Torpoint each year.
