Plans for giant turbines unveiled
Plans have gone on display for a wind farm in Cornwall with turbines of the same height as Big Ben.

Ecotricity wants to build four turbines, each almost 310ft (94m) high, at Hendraburnick near Otterham.

The firm says they would generate enough electricity for 9,000 homes and stop the emission of about 30,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year.

It says the turbines will not affect local people or wildlife. The plans are on show at Otterham village Hall.
