New owners wanted for burns dog

Sparky's horrific wounds were caused by boiling water or chemicals

A dog found in Cornwall this summer with horrific burns, has now recovered enough to find a new home.

Sparky was found wandering around Tintagel by a dog warden and brought to the RSPCA in St Columb.

It is thought he had had boiling water or even chemicals thrown on him. He was in so much pain he had chewed his tail, which had to be amputated.

He has now had months of treatment to his wounds and the RSPCA is looking for someone to take him in.
