Surf school franchise is offered
Polzeath
It is the first time the school has been offered on the open market
Teachers are being offered the chance to run a surf school at one of Cornwall's top beaches.

North Cornwall District Council has invited tenders for the five-year franchise to operate a surf school in Hayle Bay, Polzeath.

The council said it was the first time that the franchise had been offered on the open market and described it as a "unique" opportunity.

The school will start operating on 1 April 2007.

Anyone interested can get tender documents from 11 December and applications must be in by 31 January 2007.
