Car clue in armed robbery inquiry
St Day Post Office
No-one was hurt in the raid
Police are examining a Subaru car thought to be connected with armed raiders who struck at a remote Cornish post office.

The white Subaru Impreza was found in the St Day area on Tuesday after the raid in nearby St Agnes on Monday.

It had been reported as stolen from the Penzance area on Saturday.

Three masked men threatened post office customers and staff with a sawn-off shot gun during the raid before making off in another stolen car.

The men, all wearing balaclavas, were driven away by a fourth man waiting in a black Volvo 850 Estate with a registration of M399 GMR.

That car had been reported as stolen from St Agnes on Saturday night.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or seen the vehicles is urged to contact police.
