Kite-surfer hurt in cliff crash
A kite-surfer had to be flown to hospital after he lost height and crashed at the base of cliffs.

A companion who tried to help him was also injured in the accident at Watergate Bay near Newquay in Cornwall.

The Coastguard Cliff Rescue team as well as two lifeboats and a Royal Navy rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose were sent to the scene.

The injured kite surfer and his companion were flown to Treliske Hospital at Truro.
