Studios boss faces fraud charges

Alex Swan faces 12 offences
A former director of the failed South West Film Studios in Cornwall has been charged with fraud offences.

Alex Swan, 44, of Kensington Mall, Notting Hill, London is charged with 12 offences, including obtaining money by deception and forgery concerning £1.8m.

He is due to appear before Truro Magistrates Court on 17 November.

The St Agnes studios received £2m of Objective One European aid cash, but it went into administration less than two years after starting.
