Launch of 'student' ferry service
A ferry service designed for students in Cornwall has started running.

The morning service between St Mawes and Falmouth is aimed at improving transport links for people living on the Roseland peninsula.

It is hoped the ferry will help commuters and students who regularly go to the Falmouth and Truro area.

Passengers will travel free of charge during the first week of a nine-month trial. If successful, the service will become permanent.

The timetable for the King Harry Ferry has also been extended to help residents and will run from 0720 BST until 2150 BST.
