England and Bath rugby player Olly Barkley will not face any charges over a fight in Cornwall in which a man suffered a fractured jaw, police said.
The Bath fly-half, 24, who has won 16 caps for England, was detained by Devon and Cornwall Police in Newquay after the affray in Oakleigh Terrace in July.
A 19-year-old Cardiff man was issued with a £80 penalty notice for disorder.
No further action is to be taken against a 23-year-old man from Wadebridge also arrested at the time.
CS spray was used during the arrests on Sunday 30 July. The three men were later released on police bail.
The victim suffered head and facial injuries, including a fractured jaw, and was treated for his injuries at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, in Treliske, Truro.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they had issued one penalty notice and were taking no further action in the case.
Mr Barkley, who was brought up in Wadebridge, Cornwall, made his England debut in 2001 and played in the two most recent Tests in Australia in June.
He is currently the second highest points scorer in Bath rugby history.
