Early spuds tempt MPs' taste buds
Politicians from across the UK have been given the chance to sample some produce from Cornwall.

On Monday, 72kg of Cornish early potatoes were sent to London to be served up to MPs in Westminster.

The spud is being promoted by Penwith District Council and Taste of the West, which represent Cornish growers.

It is normally the first crop harvested in the UK each year and is sold "dirty" as experts believe the earth maintains the quality, taste and freshness.
