New northern air routes to begin
An airline has begun flights between Cornwall and two airports in the north of England.

Bmibaby has begun daily flights between Newquay and Manchester International, and four flights a week to Durham Tees Valley Airport.

The company expects around 70,000 passengers to use the routes.

It follows recent announcements of Air Southwest's new services to Cardiff and Leeds/Bradford, Flybe to Edinburgh, and the end of Air Wales' Cork route.
