First Cornwall-Scotland air route
The first flights between Cornwall and Scotland are to start from May.

Exeter-based airline Flybe has announced a Saturday service will operate between Newquay and Edinburgh airports from 27 May to 30 September.

It will be followed by two additional midweek scheduled flights between 10 July and 1 September.

A Cork route that started this weekend will run for just a month following last week's Air Wales decision to cut down on scheduled flights.

Air South West recently announced new daily services from Newquay to Cardiff and Leeds/Bradford from 10 April.
