Cornish nationalist party Mebyon Kernow has become the largest political group on a town council after a by-election.
The party now has six councillors on Camborne Town Council out of a total of 17 seats.
Party candidate Zoe Fox polled 243 votes in the Camborne South ward, ahead of former Mayor Jeff Wilson who managed 150 votes for the Liberal Democrats.
Of the remaining 11 seats, the Liberal Democrats and the Labour Party both have five, and the Conservatives one.
In the by-election, third candidate Rosalyn Trengove polled 42 votes for the Liberal Party.
