Surfing display opens in Falmouth
An exhibition opening in Falmouth on Friday charts the story of surfing in the UK from its humble origins in the early 1900s.

The new exhibition at the National Maritime Museum also looks at the development in surfboards and the effect surfing has on the economy.

The story is told with over 20 surfboards, wetsuits, photos, video footage and interactive exhibits.

It also includes first edition covers of British produced surf magazines.
