28,000 ammunition rounds were surrendered during the amnesty

A senior armourer for Devon and Cornwall Police is calling for the government to tighten up its legislation on airguns.
Chris Hoppins says there is still a steady flow of weapons, despite a gun amnesty two years ago.
In 2003 2,229 firearms were handed in as part of a nationwide amnesty.
Last week more than 130 weapons were destroyed by police and Mr Hoppins claims the amnesty may even have increased the movement of some weapons.
He said: "It's mainly old shotguns, air rifles and air pistols and we're finding a lot of blank firing weapons, such as imitation and replicas which continue to stream in for destruction."
During the amnesty 28,000 rounds of ammunition were also surrendered.
