Surfers remember tsunami victims
Surfers at Fistral Beach near Newquay paddled out and held a two-minute silence as they remembered friends who lost their lives in the Asian tsunami.

Events were also held at Sennen Cove in Cornwall as well as Devon in remembrance of the events on Boxing Day last year.

Thailand, Sri Lanka and Indonesia, where the tsunami hit, are all popular surfing destinations.

More than 200,000 people died when an earthquake sent giant waves ashore.
