Questionnaires are being sent to tourism operators around Newquay as part of the consultation on changes to the Newquay Minor Injuries Unit.
The Central Cornwall Primary Care Trust is proposing to close the 24-hour unit overnight to cut costs.
It says the unit, which deals with injuries such as cuts, burns and bruises, is underused.
Three thousand questionnaires and leaflets have already been sent out to schools, libraries, shops and pubs.
