A man from Cornwall has been charged with a number of offences after crashing a car into a village shop.
The 52-year-old man from St Agnes has been charged with disqualified driving, failing to stop, dangerous driving and having no car insurance.
He allegedly refused to stop for police suspecting him of being disqualified. They then pursued at him speed.
Police stopped chasing him and then found his car crashed into the front of the Costcutter store in the village.
Police say they stopped chasing the car in order to protect the public.
The driver was then arrested after a chase on foot.
