Sex attacker hunted by officers

Police are hunting a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a teenage girl in St Austell.

The victim was walking home in the Bethel Road area on 28 October when a man approached her and started making suggestive comments to her.

She ignored him, but a short time later he reappeared and grabbed her before indecently assaulting her.

Police are linking it to an incident when a man made obscene comments to a girl in Hallane Road on 23 November.

Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been approached in the same way in the last month in the St Austell area.
