New group for organic gardeners
People living in west Cornwall are being encouraged to grow organic products in their gardens.

A new support group in Kerrier, Helston Organic Gardeners and Growers (Hogg), has been set up to offer support and advice.

About 25% of British garden owners still use chemical sprays to kill pests, according to an organic charity.

The report by Garden Organic also said 60% of gardeners would like to use organic methods.

Yvonne Lewer, a spokeswoman for Hogg, said the group would be happy to welcome anyone who wanted to see what can be achieved organically.
