Garden to host flower competition
Daffodils
500 daffodil varieties will be on display
A Cornish National Trust garden will host the South West Daffodil Group's annual daffodil competition and exhibition this weekend.

Five hundred daffodil varieties will be on display during the event at Trelissick at Feock near Truro.

Experts will be on hand to give gardening tips and visitors will be able to buy daffodils as well as bring in their own to be identified.

There will also be Easter egg trails on Sunday and Monday.

'Great location'

Barry Champion, head gardener at Trelissick, said: "'We are thrilled to host the South West Daffodil Group's annual daffodil competition and exhibition.

"As one of the early spring gardens, Trelissick is a great location to host this wonderful event, which celebrates everything to do with the most famed of spring flowers."
