Pub chimney fire spreads to roof
Fire crews from across west Cornwall were called to a fire at a pub.

Five appliances from Perranporth, Redruth and Truro attended the scene the Miners Arms pub at Mithian, near St Agnes, on Wednesday evening.

Cornwall Fire Brigade said that the roof of the building was ablaze after fire spread from a chimney, where it is believed to have started.

Two hoses and four sets of breathing apparatus were used. Firefighters also helped salvage the contents of the pub.
