Eden bidding farewell to ice rink
Eden's ice rink
More than 100,000 people visited Eden while the rink was there
After 100 days of winter Cornwall's Eden Project is marking the end of the season by melting its popular ice rink by the biomes.

More than 100,000 people have visited the attraction in that time.

Saturday's celebrations will include fireworks and a performance of a specially composed piece of music.

The Eden Project's manager Dave Meneer says the rink, which has been in place since 11 November will return again later in the year.

He said: "We'd be mad not to.

"It seems to have caught the public's imagination as something to do in the winter and many people have been here five or six times.

"They'd be very disappointed if we didn't do it again."
