Police in Cornwall are searching for three thugs who assaulted, abused and spat at a disabled woman in her motorised wheelchair.
The 33-year-old woman was travelling along Station Road in Pool when she was bumped from behind by a car.
The three men in the car then shouted abuse at the woman, a passenger spat at her, grabbed her coat and tried to tip over her wheelchair.
Police said the attackers were a "disgrace to the community".
The offenders then drove off, but, as the woman was making her way home, they reappeared and drove again at the wheelchair, breaking the footplate.
One of the offenders spat at the victim again and continued to shout abuse.
'Disgusting' act
Following the incident last Friday the woman received medical attention for back pains.
Pc Louis Thomas, who is investigating the attack, said: "It's disgusting. We believe these males may be local from their accents. They are a disgrace to the community."
The driver of the car is described as being aged 17 to 20, small, with dark blonde short and spiky hair.
He was wearing a light coloured zipped hoody with a tear on one arm and a white T-shirt which possibly had a Ben Sherman logo.
One of the passengers was aged between 19 and 20, tall, of medium build, with a ginger goatee beard and had a harsh local accent.
He was wearing a white baseball cap with a blue Nike logo, Oakley sunglasses, a white long-sleeved shirt and black jeans.
The third suspect is about 14 years, with light brown short spiky hair and an immature voice.
He was wearing a beige Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt with white piping on the collar.
A 22-year-old local man was arrested and has been released on police bail.
