The way Cornwall's rivers, estuaries and coasts are managed will come under the spotlight on Thursday at a conference in the county.
The Fal is one of the rivers involved in the project
Delegates from across Europe will have the opportunity to learn lessons from other EU water environment projects.
The event, in Falmouth, will showcase the work being done in Cornwall as part of the EU-funded Cycleau Project to protect vulnerable habitats.
It will focus on the rivers Fowey, Fal and Helford.
Ways of managing and improving the water environment will be discussed as well as ideas on how to involve the community in the management of rivers, coasts and estuaries.
Site visits will also be made to the Fal and Helford catchments to showcase the work which has already been carried out to reduce pollution there.
