An investigation has started into a fire at a Plymouth community centre on Wednesday night.
Up to 40 firefighters and six appliances were called to tackle the blaze at the Tothill Community centre.
The fire started at 1930 BST while two groups of senior citizens were in the centre. They alerted emergency services as did neighbours who smelled smoke.
A derelict wing of the building was severely damaged by the fire, but no one was injured.
Firefighters remained at the scene until the early hours of Thursday morning, damping down.
The police and the fire service will continue an investigation on Thursday to establish how the blaze started.
