Man, 25, named in cliff fatality

A man who died after falling from cliffs in Cornwall in the early hours of Sunday morning has been named as 25-year-old Richard Chapman.

Police said Mr Chapman was from Abbey Wood, south-east London, although he was initially thought to be from Kent.

A police and coastguard search was carried out at the Barrowfield area of Newquay and Mr Chapman's body was found at the bottom of the cliffs.

Officers have said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
