A 44-year-old man is being questioned by police after he was arrested following a disturbance in Cornwall on Friday.
Officers were called to the village of East Taphouse after an incident at a nearby house.
It is understood the man was also involved in a minor road accident.
He then locked himself in a barn for several hours before giving himself up. He was taken to Charles Cross police station in Plymouth.
