Catherine Leech
Catherine hopes to start a new craze with her dolls
A Cornish teenager has won a place in the finals of a national competition to find the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

Catherine Leech has invented a range of dolls called Trillillees.

As one of the eight finalists in the competition, Catherine will now receive expert help and guidance from the South West RDA.

The sixteen-year-old hopes to start a new craze for collectables with her range of handmade dolls.

The winner of the competition, called Bedroom Britain, will be announced on Tuesday.

Stephen Peacock from the South West RDA said: "Today's young people are tomorrow's business leaders.

"Their ideas, energy and determination are essential ingredients to lasting economic success.

"As an RDA we are involved in several exciting projects to encourage young people to get involved in enterprise so we're delighted to be supporting Enterprise Week."
