Dead surfer is named by police
Police in Cornwall have named a surfer who died off the county's coast last Thursday.

Stephen Quinn, who was 30, was an art teacher at Falmouth Secondary School. He died after getting into difficulties off Droskyn Point near Perranporth.

A helicopter and cliff rescue teams recovered his body. Coastguards said the sea conditions were very difficult at the time.

Mr Quinn's headteacher, Sandra Crichley, says the school is in shock.

A support team from the local authority and chaplains are working with teachers and pupils to help them cope with the tragedy.
