Leaflet will help hospital travel

A new source of help has become available for people needing to travel to hospital in west Cornwall.

An allowances and procedures information leaflet has been produced by the county's Transport Action Group.

Aimed at patients who are eligible to claim assistance with travel costs, it offers information on travel options and includes a claim form.

More than 30,000 copies have been produced and they are available from GP practices and libraries.

Information in the new publication brings together services from the National Health Service, the West Cornwall Rural Transport Partnership and West Cornwall Health Watch.
