Del Boy's yellow van from the television series Only Fools and Horses was vandalised while on display at an exhibition in Cornwall, it has emerged.
Offenders targeted the Trotters' Reliant Regal after scaling a security fence surrounding the National Film Exhibition in St Agnes.
The three-wheeler's windscreen was smashed during the incident on Saturday night causing £100 damage, a Devon and Cornwall police spokesman said.
But a nearby Batmobile - which featured in the film Batman Returns - was left untouched by the offenders.
"The Batmobile doesn't really have much of a windscreen to speak of," said Bret Vykopal, exhibition project manager,
"I think its pretty untouchable, although
I wouldn't like to throw down the gauntlet to anyone."
The Reliant Regal's damaged windscreen has since been replaced.
"The new windscreen looks much better than the rest of the car.
"We will have to give it a good clean-up," said Mr Vykopal.
The yellow three-wheeler and the Batmobile were the only two vehicles on outdoor display.
Criminal damage
Since the incident the Reliant Regal has been moved and security at the site has been stepped up.
A police spokesman said the incident was being treated as criminal damage.
Other exhibits on show include a Lotus Esprit and two Aston Martins featured in James Bond films; a car from the Harry Potter film; the original Wallace and Gromit models and various film costumes.
