Two ambulance crewmen were hurt
The second man to die following an accident between an ambulance and a Ford Fiesta in Cornwall has been named.

Carl Alex Greenaway, who was 21, died in hospital on Tuesday.

He was from the town of Delabole.

Mr Greenaway's two brothers remain in the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske in what the police describe as a serious but not life-threatening condition.

Investigation continues

The collision happened on Saturday on the A3059 near Newquay.

Another man, 22-year-old David Bellringer, who was a passenger in the Ford Fiesta, died at the scene.

The two ambulance crew members involved in the crash sustained only minor injuries.

It has been confirmed the ambulance was not answering an emergency call at the time.

West Country Ambulance said it was not clear how the accident occurred.

The police investigation continues.
