Passengers in fatal crash near Cambridge named

Two passengers who died when a car hit a tree near Cambridge have been named as men who lived locally.

Kevin Wilkinson, 25, of Paget Road, Trumpington, and Paul Barker, 40, of Antelope Way, Cambridge, died in the crash on the A1303 on Saturday.

A Peugeot 206 left the road near the Coton Road junction at Madingley and hit a tree, police said.

The driver, a 19-year-old woman, and a 23-year-old male passenger, both of Cambridge, suffered minor injuries.

Anyone with information about the crash, which happened at about 0250 BST, is asked to call Cambridgeshire Police.
