Queen marks landmark anniversaries

The Royal couple were greeted by cheering schoolchildren in Cambridge

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh have attended a service marking the 900th anniversary of the Ely Diocese.

They visited the Cathedral in Ely, Cambridgeshire, and later travelled to Cambridge.

They met academics and helped to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the city's university.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh had travelled by train from London to Ely where they were greeted by local children.
